While these services will work on a limited basis with a plain browser, we recommend expanding your ability by getting a certificate and installing it into your browser. Get a Certificate!

You must have javascript enabled for these services to function.

Available Services

Note: The services are installed on a small cluster at Caltech (where jobs run quickly), and on a much larger cluster at the TeraGrid cluster at SDSC (where jobs can be larger and the queue may be much longer).

 

Image Mosaicking
The mosaic service takes a region of the sky and the name of a VO-enabled image survey, and builds seamless mosaic image from that survey.

The cutout service provides a matrix of FITS image cutouts, organized into a web page that has FITS images and JPEG views linked in a table.

Advanced NESSSI
This web portal gives users the ability to log in and to use services such as the above DPOSS image mosaicking and Multicutout service. As compute requirements scale up, you can continue to use NESSSI services in a more advanced way.
