Darth Dev Chases Jedi Bob and Our Heroes in New ‘LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy’ Clip

We’re 10 days away from the latest LEGO Star Wars series Rebuild the Galaxy, and Lucasfilm have released a 90-second clip of new footage from the opening episodes.  In the clip, our hero Sig has teamed up with Yesi Scala and “Jedi Bob”, a character voiced by Bobby Moynihan whose inclusion will delight early LEGO Star Wars fans. For those not familiar with Jedi Bob, this is a reference to an early LEGO set from back in 2008; a gunship that came with an unnamed hooded Jedi with the yellow skin that was standard on old LEGO minifigures. In lieu of an official name, fans started calling him “Jedi Bob” and here we are. It’s a cool touch that will bring a smile to the faces of any Star Wars fans who recognize it. It’s a shame it’s probably a little too late to get him added as a playable char...

‘The Acolyte’ Stars Lee Jung-jae and Manny Jacinto React to the Series Cancellation

Earlier this week, Deadline revealed that The Acolyte, Leslye Headland’s mystery thriller set in the waning days of the High Republic, would not be getting a second season. The news has sparked strong reactions across the fandom, and now some of the show’s stars are speaking out with their own thoughts on the news. Actor Lee Jung-jae, who captivated audiences as Jedi Master Sol, reacted to the news, speaking to Entertainment Weekly (EW). He did not expect to return for season 2 as his character is, you know… dead, but he was still looking forward to where Headland would take the story next and getting to enjoy the experience as a viewer. He said: I really loved Leslye’s writing. I thought that she was a great writer and director who was very talented in the storytelling, as well as crea...

D23 ‘Star Wars’ Predictions, Justin Simien on ‘Lando’ and Subsequent Misinformation, and More

Happy Sunday, and welcome to a new edition of “This Week, In a Galaxy Far, Far Away“. August is already here, which means that we are now four months away from Skeleton Crew coming out. (Can I just say how nice it is, after two years of using a low-quality version of the photo above, to finally have it in HD?) Today, we’ll be discussing the new release date announcement, along with some recent, and honestly offputting quotes from former Lando showrunner Justin Simien. Plus, some predictions for what to expect from Star Wars coming out of D23 next week. On our YouTube side, Jay, Tyler, and Luke discussed some of the recent Star Wars news headlines, and culminated the latest episode of SWNN Live! with a fun chat about elements of Star Wars Legends carrying over to the current canon, and w...

San Diego Comic-Con: ‘The Art of Star Wars Outlaws’ Book Announced, ‘The Acolyte’ Expands Into Novels, and More

San Diego Comic-Con is underway! It’s a quiet year for Lucasfilm and Star Wars, but they still brought out the guns for their Stories From a Galaxy Far, Far Away panel. Cast and crew from Star Wars Outlaws, along with authors from the High Republic, shared details on what they’ve been working on. As usual, this comes with tasty reveals; this year was no exception. The panel was limited in the first half, focusing on Outlaws and things we’ve mostly already heard about the upcoming game. For a more detailed summary, you can check out Stardust Record’s thread here. However, it ended with an art book reveal, segueing into Lucasfilm Publishing’s presentation, which was nothing but bombs. If you’ve been hunting for answers and more from the world of The Acolyte, let’s get into it. First up is...
